Scindapsus Hologram Variegated (Scindapsus sp. ‘Hologram Variegated’) is a highly decorative tropical climbing plant known for its striking variegated foliage and shimmering, layered appearance. Each leaf develops its own unique pattern, giving this collectible Scindapsus a distinctive look that stands out in any rare houseplant collection. The trade name “Hologram” is widely used in cultivation, while an accepted species-level scientific identification is not consistently documented.
Plant Characteristics
This Scindapsus produces attractive heart-shaped to oval foliage with a firm, slightly textured surface and irregular variegation. Depending on the individual plant, the leaves may display contrasting green, silver-toned, cream, or lighter variegated areas that create its characteristic holographic appearance.
It has a climbing and vining growth habit and can be grown on a moss pole, plank, or trellis to encourage larger and more mature foliage. Indoors, mature size will vary according to growing conditions, support, nutrition, and available space.
