Young plants begin with simple, elongated green leaves, while mature specimens develop deeply divided, pinnate leaves that create a bold and architectural appearance ideal for indoor plant collectors.

Rhaphidophora decursiva Dragon Tail produces glossy, leathery green foliage with a firm texture and elongated shape. As the plant matures and climbs, the leaves can become significantly larger and develop deep splits along the leaf blade, giving the plant its distinctive “dragon tail” appearance.
This species has a vigorous climbing growth habit and benefits from support such as a moss pole, plank, or trellis. In suitable tropical conditions, mature vines can grow several feet long, while the foliage becomes progressively larger and more deeply divided.
