Philodendron Majestic (Philodendron sodiroi × Philodendron verrucosum) is a striking hybrid Philodendron that combines the beautiful silver-toned foliage of P. sodiroi with the dramatic texture and tropical character of P. verrucosum. With its large, heart-shaped leaves, silvery markings, and prominent venation, this collectible aroid makes an impressive addition to any indoor tropical plant collection.
Plant Characteristics
Philodendron Majestic develops broad, heart-shaped leaves with a velvety to lightly textured surface and distinctive silver-green patterning. The prominent veins and darker green areas create beautiful contrast, while mature foliage can become significantly larger under optimal growing conditions. This Philodendron has a climbing growth habit and benefits from a moss pole or other vertical support, which can also encourage larger, more mature leaves.
Care Guide
Grow Philodendron Majestic in bright, indirect light for healthy growth and attractive foliage. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which may damage the leaves. Water when the upper layer of the growing medium begins to dry, allowing excess water to drain completely.
Maintain moderate to high humidity, preferably around 60–80%, with good air circulation. Ideal temperatures are approximately 65–85°F. Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix containing materials such as orchid bark, perlite, coco chips, and other airy components. This collectible Philodendron has a moderate care level and performs best in warm, humid conditions with consistent care.
Why Collectors Love It
Collectors appreciate Philodendron Majestic for its combination of silver-patterned foliage, impressive mature leaf size, and the desirable characteristics of two well-known Philodendron species. Its increasingly dramatic foliage as it climbs makes it especially rewarding to grow to maturity.

I am so incredibly late on posting this video. This plant came in 3 weeks ago now and I’m just getting to posting this and I almost thought I wasn’t going to. My editing software was not working for anything, but I got it all fixed so now I can start getting out lots of videos we’ve recorded recently!🪴
