Native to Southeast Asia, this collectible Hoya stands out with bold leaves that develop an increasingly impressive appearance as the plant matures, making it an appealing choice for Hoya enthusiasts and tropical plant collectors.
Plant Characteristics
Hoya meredithii produces large, elongated to oval leaves with a firm, slightly leathery texture and prominent venation. The foliage is typically deep green, with clearly defined veins that give each leaf a structured, ornamental appearance. This species grows as a climbing or vining plant and benefits from a trellis, pole, or other support. Under favorable growing conditions, mature vines can become several feet long and develop progressively larger foliage.
Care Guide
Provide bright, indirect light for healthy growth and strong foliage development. Avoid prolonged harsh midday sun, which may scorch the leaves. Water thoroughly when the upper portion of the growing medium has partially dried, and never allow the roots to remain waterlogged.
