This variegated Homalomena produces broad, heart-shaped to oval foliage with a smooth to slightly textured surface and distinctive golden-yellow variegation. The plant grows in a compact, self-heading habit rather than as a climbing vine, gradually forming a dense cluster of foliage from the base. Under favorable indoor growing conditions, mature plants can develop fuller growth and increasingly impressive leaves, although final size and variegation will naturally vary between individual plants.
