Hoya anulata (Hoya anulata) is a distinctive tropical Hoya appreciated for its attractive foliage, climbing growth habit, and collectible character. Native to parts of Southeast Asia and the Pacific region, this species makes an appealing addition to indoor tropical plant collections, especially for growers looking beyond more commonly available Hoyas.
Plant Characteristics
Hoya anulata produces firm, slightly succulent leaves with an oval to elongated shape and a smooth surface. The green foliage develops along flexible vining stems, creating an elegant climbing or trailing appearance as the plant matures. With proper support, established vines can grow several feet long, making this Hoya suitable for trellises, hanging displays, or vertical plant collections.
Like many Hoya species, mature and well-established plants may produce clusters of characteristic waxy flowers under favorable growing conditions.
