Unlike many heart-shaped Anthuriums, its leaves lack the typical open sinus at the top, creating a smooth, almost oval silhouette that gives Anthurium forgetii an unmistakable appearance among collectible Anthurium plants.

Anthurium forgetii produces broad, rounded to oval leaves with a velvety texture and prominent contrasting veins. The deep green foliage develops a refined, sculptural appearance as the plant matures. It has a compact, upright growth habit rather than a climbing form, making it well suited for indoor plant displays and collector cabinets. Under favorable growing conditions, mature leaves can become significantly larger and more dramatic.
