Overview Of The Syngonium podophyllum 'Pink Splash' :

Syngonium podophyllum 'Pink Splash' is a cultivar from the Araceae family. Leaves are sagittate (arrowhead shaped) with striking pink sectoral variegation with some flecks, variegtaion appears more pronounced in new leaves.

Genus name comes from the Greek 'syn' meaning together and 'gone' meaning reproductive organs for the united ovaries. Specific epithet means foot-leaf; in reference to the pedate leaves.

Syngonium podophyllum Pink Splash is an easy plant to grow like most Syngoniums. The leaves are hastate in shape and usually have bright pink spots or blotches. Very unusual plants are great for houseplants or in a terrarium. Best done in indoor light with an indirect filter to moderate light, or partial shade outdoors. Prefers the soil is kept at least slightly moist. This is an unusual Syngonium with nice pink and green variations. You will get the plants developed in black plastic nursery pots

Syngonium is native to the tropical rainforests of southern Mexico, the West Indies, Central and South America. Syngonium is a vine that grows to a height of 10-20 meters or more.

Syngonium pink splash leaves are light green with pretty pink splotches. The leaves are incised very deeply, so that the shape of the leaf resembles 3 leaves in the shape of an arrowhead. The unique shape, color, and leaf pattern make this plant very suitable to be used as an ornamental plant, especially indoor ornamental plants.

Syngonium Pink Splash requires moderate light, but tolerates low light. Avoid too much direct sunlight. If exposed to too much sun, the pink color in the leaves does not come out. Watering is done if the soil surface dries up after the previous watering.
